These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of verdictintelgroup.com and any services provided by VerdictIntel (“we”, “us”). By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

VerdictIntel provides post-judgment investigative services including defendant locate, asset search, skip tracing, and judgment monitoring. All services are provided by licensed investigators in the jurisdictions where work is performed.

Engagement

Specific services are governed by a written engagement letter executed at the start of each engagement. The engagement letter, including its scope, fees, deliverables, and confidentiality terms, controls over these Terms in the event of conflict.

Permissible Purpose

By engaging us, you represent that you have a lawful permissible purpose under GLBA, FCRA, DPPA, and applicable state law. You agree not to use any information we provide for harassment, stalking, discrimination, employment screening, credit eligibility, or any unlawful purpose.

No Legal Advice

VerdictIntel is an investigative agency, not a law firm. Nothing we provide constitutes legal advice. You should consult a licensed attorney about how to use our reports for collection, enforcement, or any legal proceeding.

No Guarantees

We do not guarantee specific investigative outcomes, recovery amounts, or collection results. We deliver intelligence in good faith based on lawful sources available at the time of the investigation. Subsequent changes in defendant circumstances may affect collectibility.

Fees & Payment

Fees are stated on our pricing page and in the engagement letter. Flat-fee investigations are due in advance of work. Contingency arrangements are documented separately. Reports are released after payment is received in good funds.

Refunds

Because work begins immediately upon order and includes non-refundable database costs, fees are non-refundable once an investigation has commenced. If we determine before commencement that we cannot serve your case, we will issue a full refund.

Confidentiality

We treat your case information as confidential. See our NDA Policy for additional detail.

Intellectual Property

Reports we deliver are licensed to you for use in connection with the engagement and any related legal proceeding. You may not redistribute or republish reports without our written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
